One of my favorite weekends has started! I just love General Conference weekend. It's awesome that we can receive revelation and guidance from modern day prophets. Here are a couple of other reasons why I love Saturday General Conference:
1. I got to watch Saturday morning conference for the FIRST time in years. In high school I always had dance rehearsals and in collage i had Crimson Line and taught dance on Saturday mornings. I was so excited to wake up and finally watch it live! And how amazing, I had almost all my personal questions answered in this session. Church is true!
2. Watching conference in HD. I think it makes the Holy Spirit even more high definition. Ha ha
3. Wasn't the children's choir just adorable??? Oh my goodness, they were so cute! Especially the little boys in their white shirt and ties! (More on that later)
4. It's the first PAC 12 game of the season! Let's go Utes! Earier this week I had a hilarious conversation with my Associate Director at work (who's a BYU fan):
Jeff: So, it's the first PAC 12 game this Saturday for the Utes.
Me: I know! I'm so exited!
Jeff: (Totally joking when he says this) Well, it'll be easy to decide which boys to date by who goes to the game and who goes to priesthood!
Me: Haha, I don't have to make that decision because they're rebroadcasting the game at 9:00pm at the institute!
Indeed! Thank you Church for making my dating choices easier! Ha ha just kidding, but it is kinda funny that they are rebroadcasting priesthood, because of the game. So great.
5. This may sound creepy, but I just love seeing the boys (my age of course) all dressed up in their white shirts and ties. I think it's the most attractive outfit they could wear.
6. SHOPPING WITH THE SISTERS! It's a long time tradition. We always find the cutest clothes and best deals.
In all it's the best night twice a year!
