I would say the most cultural experience I've learned thus far is not to mess with a vegetarians airplane meal. Our flight was supposed to leave at 5:10pm but was delayed when a couple stormed off the plan because Delta forgot to bring their meal on board.
We had to wait for the plane to find their luggage and transport it off the plane for them. Now we're waiting for taxi room clearance. (It's been 2 hours now). A little set back, but we're having fun on the plane.
I also can't decide if the second language they speak after the English version is Turkish or French...
I can't wait to get to Turkey!

They did that to me too! Lame. But I stayed :) and just had to eat around the chicken. They weren't even nice about it.
