Meteora

Today we had a major bus day. Apart from bus driving, the only thing we saw was Meteora. It's these cool monasteries build on sheer rock cliffs.

Yes, I was super excited to see a monk. They kinda smelled bad though. And we can't take pictures of them.

Funny thing about Greeks, you can take pictures of their art but not with you in them. I'm grateful I got to take a picture of the Navel of the Earth.

I also forgot to add that yesterday at Delphi the boys used my iPhone as a flash light to explore an underground tunnel (I think it was the ancients' old sewer system). I was very nervous for the safety of my iPhone.

I also found a postcard of a picture of a place in Greece I've taken a picture in front of. I feel pretty special.

Anyways, yep all we did is go to two monasteries and bus and pit stops for food and bathroom. I really do not like pubic bathrooms in general. Let alone foreign country.

The views from the monasteries were incredible. It's amazing that these monks devote themselves to their religion.

I'm almost done with The Help. It's a great book.

I'm really excited to go to church tomorrow in a different country.

View from my hotel Delphi balcony.

Pretty part of monastery.

Yep those are riot police outside our hotel. The park next to us is holding a protest. This is a first that I've seen of the Greek drama.
