Waking up so early has it's benefits though!!! The study abroad surprised us with tickets to see Leonardo's The Last Supper! These tickets are super hard to come by. You have got reserve them months in advance and they are really expensive. It was amazing. I also learned a lot about the symbolism of the painting as well. It was a wonderful experience.
We had to split up into two groups because the museum couldn't accommodate a large group like ours. So, while one group was seeing The Last Supper, we went to see Milan's duomo. This church was very ornate on the outside. I was very impressed.
Next to this duomo was the poplar shopping district where we went to eat lunch. I ate right next to Prada and Louis Vitton. Can you guess the designer restaurant I ate at? McDonalds. Ha ha
Hours later...
We totally watched the Sound of Music while driving though the Alps. It was gorgeous and definitely appropriate. We also passed though France and the Mont Blanc Tunnel. Which is 8 miles long. We also saw a glacier.
I don't really like Geneva right now. It's super packed and ridiculously expensive. I'm going to bed early though, hopefully I'll like Geneva tomorrow.
