In order to receive a group rate we had to pay on one card. So, I was the only one with a credit high enough to put it on. 800 dollars. 75 a person. I'm a little stressed about the logistics of how peeps are going to pay me back.
Anyways, we had the 007 buffet. Instead of champagne we had sparkling grape juice. And the restaurant rotated giving us the 360 degree view of the alps. It was perfect. And definitely worth the 110 dollars total we spent on travel/the food. They really get you (price wise) on the tram rides. Actually, they really get you everywhere.
We spent pretty much the whole morning walking around the building and outside on the lookouts. We actually had the opportunity to hike a bit on the actually rocks of the Alps. It was FREEZING. For those who know me I don't really enjoy the cold. But being up there was amazing. I would definitely do it all over again. Totally worth it.

I was also loving the who James Bond experience. We watched this cheesy movie about the mountains filming the movie. I loved it.

Next we took two gondolas down to this small town called Murren. Rick Steves recommended that we take this "nice walk" around and down Murren to connect to another gondola back to Lauterbrunen. The nice walk was wonderful!!! Rick Steves is the man. We also had a smaller fam group of Andrew, Todd, Jessica, Emily, Maren, and I. It was perfect. The best nice walk ever. And I haven't even started about the cows...

I love cows. I was so happy. They were grazing happily ringing their cow bells.

Yep, I wanted to steal him and take him home. Unfortunately he's too big and smelly. And the owner was watching us coo over his cows.
When we made it the hotel we relaxed and played some cards. It was nice. I also walked down to the grocery store and bought some coke. My throat is hurting so I looked at some tea, but couldn't figure out what the word "herbal" is in German. So drat, I didn't buy any tea.
This was really the best day ever. I don't know if it's the location or the people. But I love hanging out with the mini family. So, if anyone decides to come to Switzerland it is expensive, but bring awesome people and it's wonderful.
Tomorrow I am going bungee jumping. 400 feet off the Alps. I'm not normally a dare-devil person, but I feel like this is the coolest place to bungee jump. So might as well do it! I love all of my blog readers very much. Goodbye if I died. Please cater Cafe Rio at my funeral. Thanks!

Piggies!

Two hours later...
So, just found out that bungee jumping will not work because we have to leave for Zurich when the bungee times are available. Bummer. I still want Cafe Rio at my funeral.
Tonight we went to this awesome Folk concert provided by the Lauterbrunen. Awesome because it was free and they yodeled. Yodeling is a little differed than what I imagined. They did not sing, they just blew into this giant pipe thing. They also had this drum line. They were very entertaining. They used hard hats, squeaky toys, and fire along with their regular drums. It was really sweet to watch.
One more day in Lauterbrunen!
