So we have visited all the museums the Vatican has to offer. Much of the art work is from Michelangelo and Raphael. Very beautiful. We saw the famous Adam and God touching fingers in the Sistine Chapel. I also enjoyed the Hall of Maps (I sang "I'm the Map" from Dora the Explorer). We also saw The Transfiguration by Raphael. Neat stuff.
While visiting the enormous St. Peter's Basilica, we saw these random people going down this stair case and decided to follow them. The stair case was located by the ginormous statue of St. Longinus. We went under the church to see the Grottoes or Tombs of Popes. The whole time it felt like we were walking down to the Volturi's dungeon. No worries, there are no vampires down there.

So I took a nap on the Obelisk of the Vatican. It was very nice.
We made our way to the Galleria Borghese museum. Riding the buses here are such a pain. They are squishy and smelly.
My favorite part about the museum was the Venus Victrix sculpture by Canova. It's completely marble but the pillow she was sitting on looked soft! The palace is incredible. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to live as a princess in a house like that. I really want to paint my ceilings.
We then walked down to the H&M and the Pantheon again. The Buildings these ancients built are huge.

We met up with more of our group. In Italy there are spouting water fountains you can fill up your water bottle. They're great! No more buying water. We also saw this female couple tap dancing.
We went to dinner at this restaurant recommended by this book Andrew has by Rick Stevens. Thanks to Rick, he has saved us numerous times. Holy cow, the pizza was AMAZING. Rick really knows his stuff. The restaurant was south of the river, so a little out there. But so worth it. I had potatoes with sausage. Who thought of potatoes on pizza? It's genius. This was the most amazing pizza ever. We also got amazing gelato next door. I had cinnamon and strawberry. To find the best gelato you have to go for the non-bright colors. Bright colors attract tourists.
We got to our hotel safely. But my feet and back are killing.
Funny story, I thought that we had two toilets in our bathroom. Turns out it's a bidet. Anyways, my peeps tried to convince me to use it, as it will be a cultural experience. I haven't used it yet. Haha

The most delicious pizza ever.
